transcriptOFFICE MEMORANDUM TO: Mr. Ewing SUBJECT: Granjeno Site, DATE: Sept. 15, 1924. I sent word over the telephone about your calling up Mr. Bunn when you have time to spare to go down to Granjeno with their engineer and survey a site for a Mexican School. I agreed to give them a 2-acre tract, and I don't want them to go down there and just pick it out themselves without your knowledge of it, and further I want it taken out so it wont injure the balance of the tract they pick from. They wish 2 acres that will run North and South between the 2 lots - south of our Lot 3. You undoubtedly know what we own there, and l hope a nice site is picked out that will be attractive to the whole community. JHS:MEN Sept. 18 1924 Mr. Shary. Went with Mr. George Shunior and Mr. Wilcox to Grangeno this morning, to look over site for school building. We practically agreed on the tract of 1.86 acres lying just south of the cemetery. This is high. well drained, and has the advantage of not overflowing except a little on one corner. It has the added advantage of having a small tract lying next to it belonging to Garza that Mr. Shunior said they could buy to make the grounds larger. H.H.Ewing.
